We believe in taking a holistic approach to ensure the physical and mental well-being of all the animals in our care. Our animal welfare policies and animal husbandry programs are derived and managed based on the internationally recognized standard, the Five Freedoms.

We understand that the quality of care provided to our animals is directly proportional to the quality of meat they produce. To that end, our Myola and Livestock teams work in partnership to provide industry-leading care, including the highest standards of health, welfare, and nutrition to every animal under our watchful eye.

At Bindaree Food Group, we are committed to the ethical treatment of animals, and we strive to meet the highest industry standards in this regard. That’s why our Inverell and Myola sites are certified under the Australian Livestock Processing Industry Animal Welfare Standards (AAWCS).

We take our responsibility towards animal welfare seriously and continuously evaluate and improve our processes to ensure that our animals receive the best possible care. By doing so, we aim to ensure that our customers receive the best quality meat while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
