Sanger Brasil was established in January 2007 in Sao Paulo city following an opportunity with a chicken cooperative by the Unifrango, situated in the state of Parana. Sanger Brazil is part of the Sanger group, based in Sydney Australia which was established in 1973
Our core business is to export chicken products from our Brazilian partners to the “world” but we also trade beef and pork out of South America.
Our Team is as follows –
Ilonka Eijsink – Branch Manager
Ilonka attended university at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1996 Graduating in Agriculture Engineering, and went onto do her Masters in Agribusiness in the Netherlands and in France. Ilonka then focused her career on the Meat Industry in 2001 where she worked for Socopa in Europe and South America until 2005. Ilonka then moved to Australia joining Sanger's trading team in 2006 and onto Sau Paulo in 2007 where she has set up and is managing our South American operations.
Fernando Momente – Export / Sales
Fernando has 10 years of experience in the beef Industry. During this period he has worked in the production side, and for the last 3 years on the sales front for the biggest beef groups in Brazil.
Pollyana Thibes – Purchase & Quality control
Pollyana is a veterinarian and has 6 years of experience working with her family owned chicken abattoir and has a good relationship with other chicken producers in the state of Parana & throughout Brazil.
Olinto Arruda – Quality Control
Olinto is in his final year of Agricultural University & will be with us full time for this period. He has good experience in the pork production sector which his family has been involved for many years.
Roger Necchi: Documents & Logistics
Roger, has been involved in the logistics side of the meat industry since 2002 (aero, road and maritime). He has also worked for two beef abattoirs in Brazil, where he worked in the documentation department. Roger has a very good relationship with the shipping companies in Brazil as well as with the freight forwarders, beef abattoirs and port administrators.
