Sanger Brasil was established in January 2007 in Sao Paulo city following an opportunity with a chicken processing cooperative Unifrango , situated in the state of Parana. Sanger Brazil is part of the Sanger group, based in Sydney Australia which was established in 1973.
Our core business is to export chicken products from our Brazilian partners to the world but we also trade beef and pork out of South America.

Ilonka Eijsink Branch Manager & Trader
Ilonka is the general manager for Sanger Brasil and trader to all world markets.
She graduated in Agriculture Engineering in the University of Sao Paulo (2000) and has focused her career since 1998 in production, marketing and international meat trade.
She worked for Socopo in Europe, South America and Australia, and in 2006 moved to Australia to start its work in the headquarters of Sanger. In 2007, after a rich experience in diverse cultures and countries, she opened a subsidiary in Brazil to export beef, pork, poultry and lamb.
She has a master degree in Agribusiness and Consumer Behavior from Wagenigen, Netherlands, postgraduation in meat technology at the Instituto de Tecnologia de Alimentos - ITAL, Campinas and a specialization in the Agribusiness Policy for the European market from Rennes, France.
Pollyana Thibes Purchase Manager & Quality control
Pollyanna is the purchase manager for chicken meat and also the quality control responsible for the chicken meat exported by Sanger Brazil.She graduated in veterinary medicine at the Veterinary University of Northern Parana (2003) and has strong experience and tradition in the chicken production. Her family works for more than 40 years for this market and owns a slaughterhouse and an industrialized plant, with capacity for 50 thousand birds per day and a new plant currently being finalized with capacity for 300 thousand chickens per day.
She has close relationships with producers in the Parana State, especially with the Unifrangos members, an association of 19 slaughterhouses responsible for the third largest chicken production in the country.
She was responsible from the beginning of Sanger in Brazil and manages the companys office in Joaquim Tavora, PR. She is postgraduated in meat technology at the Instituto de Tecnologia de Alimentos - ITAL, Campinas, Frangos Pioneiros quality control coordinator and member of the Brazilian Association of Chicken and Exporters Producers - ABEF.
Vanessa Alves Documentation, Logistics & Follow up
Vanessa is responsible for Logistics and Documentation in Sanger Brazil and Follow-up with customers and suppliers.
She graduated in Business Administration with focus in International Trade (2003) and has worked since that with activities that involve close relationships with people of different cultures. She worked in the past 3 years in large companies that allowed her experience in documentation for meat export - Quatro Marcos slaughterhouse and Teeuwssen trading.
In those companies, she coordinated the meat export shipments to Africa, Europe and Asia. She has gained experience in all documentary stages for export, production monitoring, shipment organization, follow up to customers/suppliers and guarantee the ship transit respecting the deadlines.
